ZAGREBI! festival is a platform through which all interested parties in Croatian political social and business life can present their projects and achievements in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development. Every year the festival hosts various artist-activists and international musicians who have taken active part in green activism. The festival aims to promote dialogue and cooperation between society and the individual with one objective only – to create a healthier social and natural environment for generations to come. WE HAVE A CHOICE, NATURE DOESN'T! Thanks to an audacity rarely found in the business world today and the clearly defined vision of the management of Večernji list, ZAGREBI! festival is opening at a time when it is most needed. In a time when environmental issues have been launched from marginal activism to being top priority subjects managed by the UN Council on a global scale, our economy is finally becoming mature enough to seriously deal with this responsibility, and eventually build a better society through projects like these. Taking the lead once more and acting as the most influential press service, both for the general public and the business world, Večernji list has been the first to enter a dialogue aimed at finding new solutions for a responsible, sustainable business and living surroundings, with the help of ZAGREBI! festival. ZAGREBI! Festival has been jointly organised and founded by the following Croatian companies and teams: VEČERNJI LIST (www.vecernji.net) – initiator, investor, media coverage and strategic planning; the key partner in the project. KONTRAFILM (www.kontrafilm.hr) – original idea, programme and production manager. UNITED (www.united.hr) – programme advisor and executive manager of all music programmes.
