In accordance with the specific conditions provided by the Gradska kavana and the actual profile of the guests (world’s highest IT professionals and programmers) together with the aims of the organizers themselves we have created the following table of contents. Three settings are placed on each of the three floors of the Gradska kavana, in the following way. 1. SETTING, ground floor The guests gather around. Both of the sideway paths have female singers placed on a hydraulic platform with the starting height of 1.5m. They are wrapped into cloth from their shoulders downwards. The cloth falls all the way down to the pedestal. During the course of some 20 minutes, the platforms are lifted to the approximate height of 6m, with the help of a hydraulic wharf. Thus arranged, the singers seem surreal in their height and their music attains an ethereal, theatrical dimension. The music they perform is the “electronic” hit parade of the early 80ies (Kraftwerk, Electric Dreams etc.) rearranged in the style of a classical opera (on the traces of the movie “Fifth Element” – the solo of the Bluelagoon.) 2. SETTING, 1st floor Borna Šercer & the band perform their music of Vangelis using old monitors, electronic pipes and other electronic dumpster. The performance represents a kind of an extravagant vaudeville, which Mr Šercer and his instrumentalists brought to sheer perfection during the years of their performance. These musicians are able to play even the most complicated music sheets on almost anything that can produce a sound. 3. SETTING, 2. floor A combination of classical music and a contemporary synthesized sound was presented by the cello-player Ana Rucner, member of the Maribor Philharmonic Orchestra. Ms. Rucner, the electric cello and a matrix with synthetic rhythm make an outstanding solo act that goes way beyond the boundaries of conventional music acts.
